Blue Butterfly Moon Platy (Xiphophorus Maculatus)

CA$4.99Price

$5.99 each or 5 for $24.99

The Blue Butterfly Moon Platy is a colorful and easy-to-care-for livebearer with a peaceful temperament and eye-catching blue tones. Its compact size, active swimming behavior, and striking pattern make it an excellent choice for beginner aquarists and established community tanks alike.

Blue Butterfly Moon Platys are social fish that do well in small groups and mix well with other peaceful species such as guppies, mollies, rasboras, tetras, Corydoras, and other community fish. They are hardy, adaptable, and comfortable in planted aquariums with moderate filtration and plenty of open swimming space.

As livebearers, females give birth to free-swimming fry rather than laying eggs. If males and females are kept together, breeding can happen quickly, so expect fry in a healthy, well-maintained aquarium.
